Our facilitators are here on class days to assist parents in the education of thier K-12 students. We are also available to answer questions, recommend curriculums, and guide you through the process of homeschooling your children.

Heather Morris Lower Elementary Facilitator Heather is a mother to two RCHC students and has been homeschooling her children for six years. Before having her children, she taught for ten years, specializing in Montessori preschool and lower elementary education. Heather is deeply passionate about supporting each child’s unique learning style and looks forward to sharing a joyful, Christ-directed school experience with your family. Christy Zawicki Kinder/First Facilitator Christy’s family moved to Ramona in late 2022 after her husband was stationed in San Diego. For the past six years, Christy has been a stay-at-home mom to her two little girls. Her oldest started at RCHC in the fall of 2024, a year that God used to open Christy’s heart and mind to taking a more active role in her daughters’ education. When the opportunity arose to serve as the Kinder/First facilitator, Christy felt God opening a door for her. She is beyond thrilled and blessed to embrace this responsibility! |
Jena Hattox High school facilitator rchc Board Member Jena is the Vice President of Productions at the Hattox Herd Household—a mom to six with a bustling, blessed home. Jena has been a home educator for 12 years, embracing God’s call for her family with faith and trust that has brought deeper spiritual growth. She’s eager to engage with high school students this year in meaningful studies and conversations that build a strong foundation in the truth of who God is. Jena is deeply thankful to be part of RCHC and appreciates how this community continues to bless her family and this town. Megan Ingvoldstad Upper Elementary Facilitator Megan’s journey has been shaped by faith and adventure. Years ago, she and her family followed God’s call to the Philippines for overseas missions, planting a thriving church among the Cuyunon people. Now, as a busy mom of four, Megan brings her passion for teaching to RCHC. She looks forward to creating an engaging and joyful learning experience for upper elementary students. Her dedication and love for teaching are rooted in her rich experiences and faith journey. |
Nate Ingvoldstad Middle school facilitator rchc Board Member Nate has been with Grace Community Church since 2000, serving first as a missionary to the Cuyunon People on the island of Barangonan in the Philippines, and now as Pastor of Missions and Outreach. Nate and Megan have been blessed with four wonderful children, and as a pastor, he has a passion for helping people discover and use their grace-gifts to serve the church family. His heart’s desire is for everyone to know the true, everlasting peace with God that is found through Jesus. Nate holds a K-8 teaching credential from San Diego Christian College (SDCC) and is looking forward to fostering curiosity and critical thinking in middle school students, inspiring them to embrace their potential and grow in faith. Cathy Nelson Upper Elementary Facilitator Cathy holds a BA in English Literature from Biola University and brings decades of teaching experience. She has served in children’s programs at Grace Community Church for over 30 years, including 11 years as the Children’s Director, during which she developed a long-standing curriculum for Sunday school. Cathy also has extensive experience leading women’s Bible studies and has a deep love for teaching Bible, History, and English. Her dedication to nurturing and educating young minds will be an incredible asset to our co-op. |
